High Vacuum Air Samplers
Air collection equipment used to collect samples of environmental soil vapors, indoor and outdoor ambient air, and ambient VOC's using a vacuum pump to fill sample bags with the collected air samples.
The most commonly used particulate matter sampler for ambient air sampling is the high volume sampler. The multiple advantages are: relatively high airflow rates at low pressure drop, high particles storage capacity, and low moisture regain.
Sample analysis involves sending the collected air samples in sample bags to an analytical laboratory.
Geotech High Vacuum Sampler
The Geotech High Vacuum Sampler uses its internal compressor to draw air from a sampling point source and then convey the air into a sealable sample bag. The unit's compressor is capable of producing up to 27 inches of Hg (99 mbar) vacuum.
Typical applications include sampling soil vapor points and soil vapor extraction systems.
